The IEEE Curtin University Student Branch is partnering with the Curtin Institute of Radio Astronomy (CIRA), to bring you Wavelengths: a half-day lab tour and hands-on antenna challenge at in Tech Park, Bentley. You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at a working research institute, hear from CIRA staff about radio astronomy and what they do, then put theory into practice in a team-based competition for prizes. No prior experience needed but excellent for students who have completed ELEN3002/ELEN6017 (Engineering Electromagnetics) — otherwise just bring your curiosity!
